My happiest place to be is a beach here in Benbecula a mile away from my house. When I was studying for my art degree I spent most of my time here creating art over the years In many forms.
I have made performances here as a selkie and a deer stag in the sea, and been a mermaid, as well as drawing, painting, and photography. A couple of people have found me lying still on a cloth while a made a cyanotype self portrait, and were worried if I was alive or not. Another time I was caught lying making an imprint of myself in the sand to fill with plaster. I will continue to use this space I’m my next adventures.
